If you want to promote a newsletter or podcast on Apple’s platform, we can set up a banner that serves as a call to action for audiences. It will appear at the end of every story on your Apple News channel.
Here’s an example:
Can’t get enough of Eater?
Subscribe to our newsletter for the latest food and restaurant intel every day.
Destination: https://www.eater.com/pages/newsletter
Banner options
The dimensions of the banner are set to 800x500px, but it’s otherwise pretty flexible. For text-based banners, you can use fonts and colors that are already configured on your Apple News channel.
Make sure your image and text combinations are accessible, readable, and reflect the tone of your brand.

Upload any images
Please upload any images to the asset manager before contacting us. Whether you’re using a background or primary image, we recommend using a PNG or JPG that is exactly 800x500px and under 200KB.
- From the dashboard, navigate to the Assets screen
- Select Upload Asset
- Select the image from your device and add alt text
- Hit Upload
- Once the asset has uploaded, select the ellipsis menu and Copy URL
Request the banner
When you’re ready to add the banner, reach out to us so we can set it up for you.
We can make these changes relatively quickly, but Apple News can be slow to update because of their caching behavior. If you don’t see the changes immediately, try republishing a story or checking a different iOS device.
