The table of contents is how audiences navigate through a package. It includes every story in the package, and is automatically added to the end of every story included in a package, but optional on the package landing page.
You can adjust the order and organization of stories on the landing page compose screen. To update the layout of the table of contents, head over to the Layout screen.
Drag and drop stories to adjust the order. The first story in the table of contents will automatically populate the call to action at the end of the landing page. Place the most important story, the one everyone should read, in this spot.
Select Edit to change the story title that displays in the table of contents; this will not change the story title anywhere else.
For packages with a significant number of stories, we recommend breaking the table of contents into sections with no more than 10 stories each. Sections serve as headings to help audiences navigate within the package; they cannot be linked to other stories or landing pages.
For very large packages, select the minimize icon to collapse sections while you work. This will not impact the way the table of contents displays for audiences.
To remove the table of contents from the landing page, select the Hide checkbox.
