Add an image gallery

Image galleries allow you to feature a large number of images in a carousel within the body of a story. You also add a gallery as lead art.

Create an image gallery

1. In the toolbar, select Insert > Gallery.
2. Add a title.
3. Add images by searching, uploading, or dropping them in from your desktop. You can add images in bulk by selecting multiple.
4. Select Insert gallery.

Update the credits and captions

You can make bulk edits to image credits and captions by selecting the images you want to update and making your changes. Alt text and tags are are edited individually. Select an image to edit these fields, make your changes, and select Update images.

Order the images

1. Select the gallery.
2. Select Edit.
3. Toggle into list view.
4. Drag and drop images in the correct order. Alternatively, you can use the number fields to adjust the order manually.
5. Select Insert gallery.

Like images and sidebars, galleries are shared across a community so you can reuse them in several stories. If you update a gallery, the changes will appear on every story where it’s used after caching expires.
