Editors can delete assets from their networks.
You may occasionally need to remove assets from stories. This is a permanent, community-wide action so proceed with caution.
Delete an image
You can delete images that were manually uploaded to Chorus. If you need to delete an image from a service like USA Today or Getty, please contact us with the Chorus image URL.
- Open a story that has the image.
- Double-click the image to open the sidebar.
- Hit Open in asset manager. This will search for assets by URL.
- In the ellipsis menu, select Delete.
- To confirm you’re absolutely sure that you want to delete the image from any story in Chorus, type in DELETE in all caps.
- Hit Delete.
After deleting an image, audiences will see a placeholder image in any related stories. Most networks use a custom image, but you can see the standard Chorus placeholder image.
