Polls are a great way to engage with your audience and highlight their reactions to news and events. Chorus has a built-in poll option that can complement the comments section. For more official polling—like awards and voting—we recommend using Crowdsignal.
Add a Chorus poll
- In the toolbar, select Insert > Poll.
- Search for a previously created poll or create a new one.
- Add your question, the answer options, and set an end date and time when you want the poll to close.
- Hit Insert.
Change the end time of a poll, or close it entirely, by selecting the poll on the Compose screen. Edit the date and time or hit Close poll now and update the poll. Changes will be reflected when you republish the story.
Polls can also be inserted into stories after they’ve closed, which can be useful for discussing community response, or showing how responses have changed over time.
Like images and sidebars, polls are shared across a community so you can reuse them in several stories. If you update a poll, the changes will appear on every story where it’s used after caching expires.
