Managers and moderators can find contributors in their community.
Network editors and Chorus managers are able to find accounts across their community.

You may need to search for an account to update someone’s permissions or help them with login issues.
To search for an account:
- Go to the Members table.
- Enter their name, username, or email address.
- Select Find.
You can filter by permissions level (e.g., freelance, author, editor) or status (e.g., provisional, active, banned). You can also sort the table by joined date.
Troubleshoot searching for Chorus accounts
If you can’t find the right account, this may be because the account was created on a different community. Make sure you’re searching on the right community’s members table. However, if you don’t have access to that community, reach out to us for help.
