Super groups are available to Curbed, Eater, SB Nation and Chalkbeat. Network editors and Chorus managers can manage super groups.
Super groups allow stories from multiple communities to be shared across an entire network. For example, SB Nation has a super group about the NBA Draft. Once you’ve create a super group, editors can add stories to it.
Create a super group
- From your homepage, open Quick Admin > Network.
- Select Super Groups.
- Select Create Super Group.
- Fill in the name and slug fields.
- Hit Save.
- Consider adding a group description and other optional steps to optimize the group for search results.
Add stories in bulk
For coupled Chorus users, super group pages will 404 for audiences until you add published stories to it. If you want to add stories in bulk, you can do that in legacy Chorus:
- From your homepage, open Quick Admin > Network.
- Select Super Groups.
- Next to the group, select Curate this group.
- Copy and paste the full URL from each story, adding a line between each URL.
- Select Add to update the super group.
Note: If you add stories with this legacy tool, the super group will not display within the story editor.
