Third-party authentication can be used to log in to Chorus through your existing Twitter, Facebook, or Google account. It can also be used to add your Twitter username to your profile.
Add third-party authentication
- Once you’re logged in, head to your homepage.
- Select your account link (this may be in the navigation or footer of your site, where login is).
- Select Edit Account & Settings.
- In the Third Party Login section, select the account you’d like to use.
- You should be brought to a confirmation page on the third party’s website. Follow the instructions to continue.
- Select Update to save your changes.
Remove third-party authentication
- Once you’re logged in, head to your homepage.
- Select your account link (this may be in the navigation or footer of your site, where login is).
- Select Edit Account & Settings.
- Enter your email address in the Private Email Address field, if it’s not filled in already.
- In the Third Party Login section, select Unlink next to the account you’d like to remove.
- The page will refresh. Select Update to save your changes.
If you remove Twitter authentication, this may affect where Chorus shows your Twitter username, and Chorus will not be able to post tweets to your personal account.
